Vision & Mission
CCRA is a leading resource and advocate for the higher education technology community serving as a conduit for campuses and their stakeholders. As the unified voice of campus technology resellers, the mission of the CCRA is to provide and advocate programs and services that campus resellers need to sustain viable businesses while effectively supporting the academic missions of their colleges and universities. |
The purpose of this NACS special interest group shall be:
Governance
The Campus Computer Resellers Alliance is an organization run by volunteers. The governing body is the CCRA Council consisting of the Chair, the Chair-Elect, the Immediate Past Chair, up to six (6), but no less than four (4), elected or duly appointed Councilors from the campus reseller membership and one NACS member appointed by the NACS Board of Trustees.
There are also committees and task forces that serve the Alliance. The Partnership Development Committee is charged with identifying vendor programs and services deemed to be exceptional based on established criteria. The committee meets with vendors to discuss the higher education channel, share expertise and come to a more comprehensive understanding of how vendors and resellers can work together for the betterment of the industry. Vendors whose programs meet the established criteria are awarded the VIP designation.
The Conference Program Committee and the Conference Planning Committee assist with the planning and execution of the annual Conference & Expo.
Task forces are created when a special need arises and remain in existence until their assigned work is complete.
More in-depth information regarding the above can be found in the CCRA Policies and Procedures (PDF) and Operating Guidelines (PDF).
As you can see, there are plenty of opportunities to become involved. If you would like to volunteer, please contact:
